Book Review: Thirteen Reasons Why

Title: Thirteen Reasons Why

Author: Jay Asher

Plot:
Clay Jensen's friend and first love, Hannah Baker committed suicide days before, when suddenly a mysterious box of cassettes appear on his doorstep, saying that there were thirteen reasons why she killed herself, and Clay was one of them.

Opinion:
Personally this book was a thin compilation of disappointment. With the numerous amount of amazing reviews, I'd expect the book to be beyond amazing. Instead, I found a pointless, petty story with many stretches of irrelevant rambling. While the book was good enough, it certainly did not deserve the excitement, comments and fandoms it received.

Rating: 2 stars
